DR SHRINIWAS CHINTA

Dr Shriniwas Chinta is experienced neonatologist and general paediatrician who has completed his basic paediatric training from India. He has subsequently completed specialist training in Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine from the prestigious medical college -Seth GS Medical College MUMBAI University India.

After moving to Australia, he has further completed his advanced training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics and Child Health division) in 2014.

Following this, he has worked as post-graduate fellow/ consultant in neonatal medicine at Liverpool NICU. His quest for further learning and training continued with advanced training in general paediatrics which was completed in year 2019.

He has over twenty years of experience working as a trainee, fellow and as a consultant in various aspects of Newborn and Paediatric care. For more than a decade now, he has worked both in neonatology and paediatrics at various hospitals across NSW metropolitan and regional health networks.

He is currently working as a VMO consultant in neonatology at the busy Sydney South West Private Liverpool and Gosford Private Hospital. This work includes looking after critically sick newborn infants in the NICU/SCN and following their post discharge issues, growth and development during infancy as outpatients.
