DR SAMUEL VO

Dr Samuel Vo is a friendly and approachable obstetrician and gynaecologist with a strong academic background who has a special interest in minimally invasive gynaecology and laparoscopic surgery, managing conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain among other benign gynaecological conditions and presentations.

Dr Sam graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medical Studies / Doctor of Medicine degree, and completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in hospitals across Western Sydney and the Central West region of New South Wales. He completed the minimally invasive surgery and advanced laparoscopic gynaecology surgical fellowship with the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgery Society (AGES), in addition to the Master of Surgery in Advanced Gynaecological Surgery at Western Sydney University.

He is dedicated to medical education and training. Dr Sam is involved in the education of training obstetrician and gynaecologists, as well as teaching medical students from Western Sydney University and the University of New South Wales, where he was awarded major teaching prizes in 2022, 2023 and 2024. He has presented at national and international obstetric and gynaecology conferences, and has worked in rural southern Cambodia as a volunteer OBGYN specialist where he performed the region’s first laparoscopic surgery, and contributed to the education and training of local doctors.

Dr Sam aims to deliver good evidence-based and patient-centred care to his patients, regardless of their background or circumstances. He is a Staff Specialist and Early Pregnancy Assessment Service (EPAS) Lead at Liverpool Hospital, and is a Visiting Medical Officer at Fairfield Hospital and Sydney Southwest Private Hospital.
